Under "Career", please change/include the following information: 1955-1967 He served with the 3rd Armored Division in West Germany from 1959-1961 [after this citation, please add], as a Rifle Platoon leader, Company Executive Officer and Assistant Battalion S-3 (Plans and Operations). Trobaugh then went on to serve as an instructor and Company Commander at the United States Army Ranger Camp, Eglin AFB, Florida. Trobaugh commanded Headquarters and Headquarters Company of the 7th Logistical Command in Korea from 1962 to 1963, then returned to West Point as an instructor in the Military Academy's Office of Physical Education. Vietnam War From 1967 to 1968 Trobaugh served in South Vietnam in the 1st Infantry Division [after this citation, please add], where he was both a Battalion and Brigade S-3. He returned to the States in 1968 and was assigned in turn as Deputy Chief, Administration Division; Management Analyst; and Chief of the Manpower Survey Team in the Office of the Chief of Staff, Army. This additional information more completely summarizes and clarifies the Career, Personal Life, and Awards of Edward Trobaugh. My conflict of interest is I am a surviving son, Jeff Trobaugh. While my effort is to pay tribute to my father, my factual references are taken from DD Form 214. I am not disputing or seeking to change any previously, cited information on this page.
