1896 images

There's a nice set of the 1896 images at https://www.flickr.com/photos/britishlibrary/tags/sysnum003501240 if anyone feels like copying them to Commons.

They can be copied over reasonably easily using the Flickr2commons tool, as described here. There's also an ingestion script to reformat the description pages and link back to Flickr and the BL -- it can be applied to a set quite quickly by anyone who's got AWB: all that needs to be changed for each image in the ingestion template is the page number and the Flickr URL. @Jheald: Thanks for this. I'm familiar with the Flickr2Commons tool but not the ingestion script u mention. Keen to upload these but if the format of the description page can be improved too then I'm all for that.Stinglehammer (talk) 23:15, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
