Is Ed, Edd, n Eddy cancelled. I know some people overreacting about it

You are not funny. DietLimeCola 00:12, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes i am :p Bearflip 00:33, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

No, you're not. I saw no humor in your remark. Ed, Edd, n' Eddy isn't over. You're as funny as a cinderblock...which isn't funny at all. Link 486 12:46, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Wow, you just noticed that. The guy that talked in the trivia area is right. THis is a talk page for dicussing the frecken article, not a chat room.24.208.240.228 23:05, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Dispute over whether the show is ending or not

I recently saw the Cartoon Network commercial for "The Best Day Edder" (which ironically sounds like the "The Best Day Ever" marathon) on Boomerang and it said that all those episodes would lead to the final episode (the announcer actually said that). Toon Zone didn't say the show would be canceled and it stated that there would be a sixth season. Squirepants101 16:45, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

The commercial is official and should be trusted over fansites. --Philo 16:47, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Information has already been released about an "alien takeover of Cartoon Network" in May. A new episode of EEnE will air in which the aliens try to take over Rolf's house[1]. So, when he said "final episode," I take it that he meant "the last episode that has been released so far." -- Elaich 18:17, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
However, it does specifically say "last episode ever," which could possibly mean that it is in fact, the last episode ever. Or this "aliens taking over" could have done it. ... Wouldn't it be awesome for these "aliens" that are interrupting the feed to come out on the last episode and say that it isn't in fact the last episode. Trident523 14:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Since the alien episode has already been announced to air on May 11, "last episode ever" is clearly just a hook to get fans talking and speculating. Unless another spin is added later. -- Elaich 05:52, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it could be a move to spark speculation... It can't be over! Not yet! Mabye this has something to do with that "alien takeover" thing after all. Link 486 12:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Since CN paid for an entire 6th season, a movie, and that alien episode, it's pretty unlikely that they'll just pull the plug. Unless they show season six and the movie as part of the marathon...

It's official. They're ending this series. The alien invasion on CN is a promotion for the new cartoon series.--168.13.191.66 16:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Citation, please? I haven't seen anything anywhere that validates this. -- Elaich 14:37, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Hold up! I thought it meant that the show was ending too, when the announcer said, "last episode"! It more likely means "last episode aired thus far". It can't be over, because CN has already announced another season for 2007-2008, along with the TV movie. Still, it makes you wonder though... ---JS
It's been known for years there would be a season 6, why would they suddenly change their mind? Besides, we still have the movie. Geeze, thanks ALOT Cartoon Network for confusing the hell out of everyone... It was either:

A: An error B: A way to get more viewersDietLimeCola 21:04, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

There's no way that the show can be over so suddenly. They have a TV movie to air, along with another season! They can't cancel it now! Besides...I really like it! They just can't end it! If they did, it would be incomplete! At least think about that! Link 486 12:25, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

First of all, Danny the creator of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy is retiring from cartooning. He has worked up on his cartoons and now it's time for him to retire.--168.13.191.66 14:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Source? I don't want him to retire, I want to see what he comes up with next. I loved the Grunts, Lupo and the Eds. Besides, he cannot retire now even if he wanted to, he signed a contract with CN stating that he HAD to make a fifth and sixth season. DietLimeCola 17:24, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Danny is 50 years old. I think it was time for him to end his cartooning career. He's been working on cartoons for over 30 years.--168.13.191.66 15:02, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

You THINK he's retiring, but you do not have a source that provides the definite fact that he IS. I am sick of unsourced claims. If you THINK something is happening, get a source on it and provide it with the edit. If you cannot provide a source for your claim, then it isn't happening. I don't care if you really really believe it, it doesn't matter. Only things as facts belong here. DietLimeCola 01:07, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes, where is the source of this information? I can't even find any mention of it on the fan sites. -- Elaich 09:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

If there are going to be new episodes with the aliens, it's not over! Link 486 13:02, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey, this may have been brought up earlier, but the new episode that will be shown on Friday IS the last episode of season 5. A play on words perhaps?--68.83.248.127 00:56, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

What I see here is rationalizing on the part of fans. It's still possible for it to be the last episode produced, despite not being the last new episode shown. I'm sure EEnE finished their alien episode before the last episode was produced, CN waiting for the other four series to finish their alien episodes. --Philo 22:15, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

The announcer said that this will be the last episode of the series, not just season 5. Season 6 will be a movie and a two Ed, Edd, N'Eddy specials.--168.13.191.66 14:05, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunetly, I think the final note to this was the Creator, actually SAYING this was the end. This makes me sad, this cartoon is my most memorable cartoon of my childhood.

My GOD this has been a terrible day here. It is not ending, it has been revealed 2 years ago there would be a season 6. AKA has sent mails back saying it wasnt the end. A NEW EPISODE IS COMING IN TWO WEEKS which is a season 6 episode. My GOD what do you people want from us?! ITS NOT ENDING, CASE CLOSED. THIS IS NO LONGER OPEN FOR DEBATE. I am going to request the page get semi-locked for about two weeks, I am TIRED of this. DietLimeCola 23:46, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Congrats for stating the obvious. 24.208.240.228 23:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

I agree

I think so as well. They aired that commercial about the aliens. I think they mean the last episode made or the last episode of the season. I personally can't wait for the new season! -Enchantz —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.72.51.130 (talk) 01:32, 24 April 2007 (UTC).

Changes in Season 5

Do you think it would be good to mention the changes made in season 5 for the series in the article? There are a number of things I've noticed to be different. Black Kat 19:11, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

What changes are you talking about? -- Elaich 09:30, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

The change of seasons, the new school location, the new animation style... take your pick.--68.83.248.127 19
36, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

The change of seasons is already mentioned. There is no "new" school location, because there never was a location, and school is also mentioned. As far as animation style, I see very little difference myself. -- Elaich 14:39, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

The only difference with the animation style is they are using digital colors. DietLimeCola 20:40, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
I can clearly see a difference from the newer and older episodes, and after watching the show during the marathon, I can see it slowly evolve. It has changed quite a bit over the course of the show's run. --blm07 11:20, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but the change was gradual. There was no sudden change in anything that has no already been mentioned. Like DLC said, the are using digital colors in Season 5, but it has already been said that Season 4 was the last to use painted cels, so that is what you would expect. -- Elaich 05:23, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Ed Edd n Eddy Template

Why do your deleting my template? (Template:Ed Edd n Eddy) Cooldude27109506 16:00, 21 April 2007 (UTC).

How strange

I made a few edits earlier this evening while logged in, and the edits showed my user name correctly. Now, I check back in, and the edits do not show my user name, but my IP, which is 64.169.155.142. I selected "Remember me" which is supposed to keep me logged in at all times. Why did my IP show when the edits were made while I was logged in? I've noticed other buggy things on Wikipedia, like how sometimes an edit will appear, but you cannot find out who did it on the history page. The edit is there, but it does not show in History. Weird. -- Elaich 09:37, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Nothing really to worry about, the same happened to me. It was just probably a Wikipedia glitch that's probably fixed now. DietLimeCola 21:40, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

"last episode"

NO IT WILL NOT END ON APRIL TWENTY EIGHTH! Thank you. -- Enchantz 30 July 2007

PEOPLE IT'S OFFICIAL ED, EDD AND EDDY WILL END ON APRIL 28!

STOP EDITING THE ARTICLE! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Surferman32 (talkcontribs).

Are you kidding me? Firstly, a new episode is coming out on May 11, that much is obvious, so the show hasn't "ended". Secondly, you don't scream at people and demand them stop editing a article just because a show has ended. --blm07 13:46, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

"Note: This episode is referred to as the series finale, although a sixth season is planned along with 1-3 specials. There is a possibility that the sixth season's production has been canceled, although at least one of the specials have already been given a premeire date."

Creator Danny of Ed, Edd, N' Eddy might be retiring from cartooning. Besides, he's got other things to do. He been working on cartoons for over thirty years.--168.13.191.66 14:14, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Erm... the infobox is contradicting the Best Day Edder section on if the series is going to end which is why I put a contradict tag on it. Is the series going to end or not?--PrestonH(Review Me!)(Sign Here!) 15:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
I edited the infobox and removed the contradict tag since even if the series ends later today, the "last" episode hasn't aired yet. Plus, this isn't the first time CN has had a "last episode" publicity stunt; Adult Swim did the same for Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The Alien episode obviously shows that the series isn't ending. D4S 16:18, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
These constant edits of the final airing are ridiculous and childish, I've requested the article be semi protected for a couple of days at least. --blm07 23:47, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

We've already discussed this, and we've already reached a verdict! IT ISN'T OVER! That so-called "last episode" wasn't even "last episode" worthy material! Once again, IT'S NOT OVER! Link 486 12:40, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey blm07, who says that children aren't using this talk page? Oh and Link 486, stop overeacting. Ed edd and eddy is not over. 24.208.240.228 23:09, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Canker?

I noticed something weird on the page. The article displays "Canker" in one sentence, when it should be "Kanker", yet when editing the page, "Kanker" has already been typed correctly, though the final result is still "Canker"?

Which page?

Worthy Trivia Note

It should be a noted that every charachter has their own....melody so to speak. Any fan of the show who pays close attention knows this. I think it's worth noting in here as i have not really seen any other show that does this. Also, there should be a trivia section in this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.205.70.254 (talk) 18:22, 28 April 2007 (UTC).

I believe you mentioned these same points before the last archive, and I remember that the reply was that it is not notable. Squirepants also mentioned that trivia sections are not wanted by Wikipedia. It's an encyclopedia, not a fan page. -- Elaich 05:26, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

THis is a tad ironic, wouldn't you have to be a ed edd and eddy fan to be talking about it on this page? 24.208.240.228 23:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

The difference is in what's notable enough to be mentioned in an encyclopedia article. Much of what's published on fan sites isn't. Wikipedia has published guides for what is notable and what isn't. Also, there is no citation to support the "different music" theory. What I notice is that the music in EEnE changes a lot from scene to scene, and does not seem to depend on what character is being shown, but on the scene itself that is showing. -- Elaich 02:55, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Cartoon Network Press Release

Here is a Cartoon Network press release mentioning the fact that there will be another new episodes of Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

THANK YOU! DietLimeCola 19:13, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
First of all, god bless you for finally putting up a source that proves that a new episode is coming, but I don't think it will do any good. Every other commercial on CN is an ad for the "CN Invaded" specials(including the ed's), and yet people still seem to think it's over. This article needs to be protected for two weeks, or whenevr the new episode comes out.--68.83.248.127 19:52, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

For all you people, the next season is coming. DOn't you pay attention to CN? If a new episode is coming, the "last episode" is just stunt. Lets just hope the last season is good. 65.29.111.22 23:26, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

At least SOMEBODY knows it isn't over yet! There will be a new episode (which will be part of the "Invaded" miniseries). Link 486 12:49, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Best Day Edder

Is history, and as such, does it even warrant mention in the article? There have been marathons before, and they are not mentioned. The only thing remotely notable about Best Day Edder was the airing of the last episode of Season 5. As such, I vote we remove it. -- Elaich

I believe that this marathon deserves a small mention in the article, since the promotion/event is a major one. It also seems to barely pass the notability criterion; however, an article should not be created out of it, since it would end up like The Best Day Ever (SpongeBob SquarePants marathon). Squirepants101 22:42, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
I changed it, but someone has already changed it back. We can expect this to continue, and can expect even more choas as the Alien episode comes and goes. -- Elaich 04:02, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
If you want to change it to just a piece of trivia, fine. But I think the image I uploaded should be used in the article somewhere. image:Danny Antonucci during The Best Day Edder.jpg --blm07 04:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

The best day edder is a reminder to all of us that ed edd and eddy is one of the most popular tv shows in america. Why don't we just leave the article in peace untill we have more time to think about it.24.208.240.228 20:13, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Wikiquote Cleanup Highly Requested

I'm sick of having to correct the mistakes in the Wikiquote artcile. We should all do our part and clean it up. That way it won't look like an English/Grammar flunkie made it. Link 486 12:53, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

One has to actually care about the Wikiquote article to edit it. It seems that many of us don't. I just took a look at it, and I would delete about 66% of those completely unnotable quotes. But, that's my own opinion. -- Elaich 16:04, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, its kind of insane how many quotes are there, I don't think I'm interested in dealing with so many quotes. --blm07 16:13, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I think we should all sit down and read this

[3] :( DietLimeCola 22:41, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Until there is an OFFICIAL announcement from CN or aka, I think we should just maintain as is. That poster claims to work at aka, and probably does, but this is just a leak, not an official announcement. Also, as he said, there are Season 6 episodes that have been or are being finished, and they will no doubt air. Also, it is posted on a fan site, and no matter how well maintained the site is, nothing it says is official. That's why we link only to the CN and aka sites in the article. -- Elaich 02:44, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
The reason there are only two episodes in season six, is because of the making of the ed edd n eddy movie. They can't do that all at once! -- Enchantz 30 July 2007

Proposal to create "List of pop culture references in Ed, Edd n Eddy"

It would cover the bases for those who want a trivia section, and for things that happened in only one episode. EEnE is chock full of such references, some subtle, some not. The references would be listed by episode. What think? Yay or nay? -- Elaich 02:48, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Nay. DietLimeCola 06:53, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
No. Pop culture references by themselves are not notable. It would definitely violate WP:NOT because Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information (listcruft is another name for an article like that). The article would also be filled with original research and unverfiable content. It would be tagged for deletion right away. Just look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of goofs from Camp Lazlo. Squirepants101 12:26, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
OK - the wisdom of the group prevails. Thanks, guys. -- Elaich 18:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

It's hard to say. My suggestion would be that, to instead of make a cultural references list, maybe mention in the description somewhere that there have been cultural references, but in an encyclopedic form. That might also help from stopping people from making a CR list. EEnE I would say doesn't necessarily need it either, due to that cultural references aren't a theme to the show. Something like Family Guy is a different story, since it's a strong theme in the show. EEnE often doesn't make CR, though. Good idea to think of it, Elaich. I know a lot of shows have CR lists, like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and, as said, FG, but it is valid and more ideal to have it for shows like them since it's so common. Jade Owl 13:40, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

The Eds' Fate

Heres sources from the3eds.com, AND I finally got my buddy who has good connections with AKA, to call them and spare us all a few details about the fate of the show. To confirm he wasn't lying, I said "hi" myself to an AKA worker (ain't I a lucky bastard?).

  • Nothing is really set in stone yet, but AKA and CN are trying to work out some sort of deal.
  • Due to the ratings of "The Best Day Edder", they allowed one additional half hour episode for season 6 (bringing the total to two). However more are up for debate.
  • Season seven is up for consideration, but "there's no promises".
  • Name of the movie is "ED, EDD, N EDDY’S BIG PICTURE SHOW”.
  • DANNY IS NOT RETIRING . I told him to ask them this question, and we finally have the answer. As I type this, they are preparing pitches for new shows to various networks. To quote the worker, "he'll be making cartoons forever." That retiring thing was just yet another unsourced claim by someone who guessed. I feel stupid believing that in the first place, even though it does sound logical.

It's still a big mystery of whats going on with this show, but these are just the facts we have so far. Lets all just stick to the FACTS, do not guess what is going to happen. DietLimeCola 04:36, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, if the show's not over, they have to go on with it. We just need to know when the new season airs. Once that information is released, all those naysayers will stop b**ching and shut up about it being over. Link 486 12:48, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Is it canon?

In the article summary, it says that the entire series is just the flashbacks of a one-hundred-year-old Eddy. I don't think that belongs there. It's just one episode. There's no proof the entire series is a flashback, just that one episode.

Where exactly did you see that? —May the Edit be with you, always. (T-borg) (drop me a line) 18:41, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
I looked for it too, and couldn't find it. But, Wack'd About Wiki did and deleted it. I certainly never heard that before, either. Looks like the poster invented a fictitious episode (Take This Ed And Shove It, Part II) for his "proof." -- Elaich 17:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
It's one of numerous fancrufts that anonymous keep adding. Ed has superhuman strength and characters that are people's arms are other examples. --Philip Laurence 18:57, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Yup. Good thing we're all here to fix things then, eh? :) —May the Edit be with you, always. (T-borg) (drop me a line) 19:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Take This Ed and Shove It is an actual episode. I've actually seen it, and I knew what the guy was talking about, but for all we know the flash back to childhood is actually a flash-foward (it there is such a thing) to senior citizenship. We don't know; thus, I got rid of it.--Wack'd About Wiki 19:49, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Take This Ed and Shove It, Part 2 is not an episode. That's what the original poster said. There was no Part 2. -- Elaich 22:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Just 12 characters

Is this line entirely correct? "No adults or other characters other than the existing cast ever appear in the show". You see the rather huge arm of eddy's dad appear from the right and yank eddy away, and then ed is yanked away by his mothers arm from the left in one epsiode. Ben 07:42, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Eddy's dad is NOT a character. How many times do we have to explain this? DietLimeCola 07:45, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
More than once I take it. It was the "Mission Ed-Possible" episode I was refering ((You mean referring? -Enchantz)) to anyway I think. Ben 07:49, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Why would you think that an arm is a character? Did it speak or display any personality? Sheesh! -- Elaich 22:42, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Eddy's father is NOT A CHARACTER. For example: In the archie comics, you will often see people in the background at the mall or on the sidewalk. Would you consider them characters? No! -- Enchantz 30 July 2007
Characters. It's spelled: Characters. I will change it. -- Enchantz 30 July 2007
  • Ignoring spelling, which I think is irrelevant, and the unnecessary aggression, I do see your point. I wasn’t suggesting that his dad was a character that was explored in depth though, but suggesting that a character appears (a person who is "involved in the action of a story"). It's not the same as characters in the background in comics though as they are unknown characters that aren’t a part of the story, which the parents were in this case, although only very very briefly. The page now says, "No other characters have appeared besides the main cast and adults are never seen." Going on the original example I stated, I disagree that adults are never seen, although they are never seen in full and their faces are never seen. I would say that personality was displayed in the actions. Very loose, but there are many ways in which they could have been taken away, but they were done so in a particular fashion. So I see the point trying to be made, but the 2 examples are week. Please read the full line that I originally quoted also. It starts with "No adults". Ben 03:50, 11 Aug 2007 (UTC)

i'll make my argument simple: this

, only contains two links, and the subject of Ed, Edd n Eddy probably never will warrant more than three articles. --Philip Laurence 05:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Looks fine now. The Prince of Darkness 14:07, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
    • Why do we need a template at the bottom that just duplicates links already found within the article? Just because it's The Prince of Darkness's pet project? -- Elaich 13:21, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
      • I am going to delete this template henceforth every time I see it. It is redundant and is simply not needed here. -- Elaich 15:03, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
  • I will reinsert it. A lot of other animated series has a similar template. The Prince of Darkness 15:45, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
    • Please cite some examples for me to look at. Thanks. -- Elaich talk 20:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Codename: Kids Next Door… any more? (not that I'm taking side in the discussion, just pointing out) —May the Edit be with you, always. (T-borg) (drop me a line) 20:38, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks. It's not really a big deal, it just seems redundant. Those links are already within the article, and I would not use the template to start with, as I think it's dumb to have to scroll to the bottom of a page to get to links. -- Elaich talk 21:33, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
    • Generally speaking, that's what some templates are about, after one has read the article, at the end there are the most important related links, so they don't have to be searched again in the main body. —May the Edit be with you, always. (T-borg) (drop me a line) 21:39, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Does Jimmy have a crush on Sarah?

In the episode The Ed's are Coming, it seemed to give you that idea during Jimmy's dream sequence. y'know, right before the aliens showed up and began to rip the cul-de-sac out of the ground. Quote: "There she is! (Sarah) My pummeling protector! my beautiful guardian angel!" At which pont it shows sarah skipping toward jimmy, hearts floating over their heads, and flowers growing where she steps.--71.176.159.80 00:02, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Sounds logical.--Fred Fredburger: Lord of Horror 19:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

  • It's always been generally accepted, which is what makes the claims that Jimmy is gay so ridiculous. However, the aliens episode cannot be accepted as canon, because it was a "stunt." There will be more episodes of EEnE, and the aliens will never have existed. -- Elaich talk 21:21, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Okay, but then....Is he gay? i mean, he dresses girly when going to bed, loves girly things, and his only friends are Nazz, Sarah, and to a lesser extent, Ed.--Fred Fredburger: Lord of Horror 23:47, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

How can an eight or nine year old boy be gay? He plays with girls because he is the youngest boy, and is afraid of the others. -- Elaich talk 02:24, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

An 8 or 9 year old can be gay. MJ's been gay since he was born.--Fred Fredburger: Lord of Horror 23:33, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

That's absolutely ridiculous, as well as untrue. Being gay or straight presupposes sexual activity. And who is MJ? -- Elaich talk 07:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

It is possible that an 8-9 year old can be homosexual. Sexuality develops at different stages for people. Though (s)he wouldn't be fully feeling their sexual urges, their traits and interests would be beginning to develop and show. Little kids who are even in kindergarten will experience "puppy love," and a homosexual might feel it towards someone of the same gender. I experienced puppy love when I was in kindergarten with a boy who liked me as well, though sexuality and sexual urges did not arise yet. I don't believe he is, though...I think he adores Sarah, and copies her because he looks up to her, and possibly is in love with her. I think Jimmy being in love with Sarah is much more likely than him being gay. Remember when he was hanging around Ed in one episode and looking-up to him as a brother figure, he acted like Ed. When he started to let Eddy influence him, he became a con artist and showing sociopathic traits (though his love for Sarah still stood firm). Jade Owl 13:24, 4 June, 2007 (UTC)

This is stupid. Who cares if he's gay, lesbian, or heshe? Some people are gay until 10 or something. Morgan22345 22:38, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't think this is the place for such discussion. —May the Edit be with you, always. (T-borg) (drop me a line) 22:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
If editors weren't constantly adding it to the article, it wouldn't be. However, this is a continual issue here. I'm happy to finally get some input on it from others. Now, this discussion can always be pointed to when the issue arises. -- Elaich talk 14:27, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Jimmy and Sarah are close friends, not in love with each other. Jimmy isn't gay, either. Sarah only protects Jimmy and does "friends" things with him (like knitting and jump-rope). Besides... in an earlier episode, Sarah developed a crush on Edd, which broke Jimmy's heart. Once again, I inform you all that Jimmy is straight; he just uses big words for his age and old-fashioned figures-of-speech. Link 486 12:23, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Jimmy seems to me to be homosexual. If he is bisexual (which I doubt because he acts more a gender-challenged male than a boy) Then having a crush on Sarah is a possibility, but he shows no signs of "liking" ANY of the characters. Sarah is like his mother.-- Enchantz 30 July 2007

Dispute on Peach Creek

User:Bobby84 has replaced the redirect that was placed by User:TTN and has recreated the article Peach Creek. Note how it is different from this revision. Do any of you think that the article should go back to being a redirect or should it stay this way? Pants(T) 19:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

That article should be a redirect to this page. —ScouterSig 19:34, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
TTN just reverted it back to a redirect. Pants(T) 19:46, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Just for the article itself, the old Peach Creek should DEFINITELY be the used one. The new one isn't written well at all, both wording and layout. Jade Owl 15:20, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Just how is a mythical town/community in a cartoon series, which it is not even known what country it's in (Canada or US), notable enough to have it's own article to begin with? The whole thing can be summed up in a short paragraph. -- Elaich talk 14:24, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't like the idea of Peach Creek having its own article. It's a fictional place that is predominantly populated by children. There are no adults, cars... not much of anything, really. So why make an article abput something so empty? Link 486 12:24, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Fandom section?

I believe it would be a good idea to add a section abou the fans of Ed, Edd 'n Eddy(EEnE), because the fan s are the only reason the show is still on. I tried adding one yesterday and it was deleted, though all the material was verified, including a section about an interview with a cast member (Erin Fitzgerald).

Stoopid Monkey 19:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia does not link to fansites. Fandom has nothing to do with the content of the show, which is what this article is about. It really doesn't matter that many fans wrote letters to CN. It's irrelevant to the content of the show. A lot of it was also POV. -- Elaich talk 02:49, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Ages

Does anyone know the characters ages. In "A Pinch to Grow An Ed", when Eddy measures himself it last says age 11. However, in "Your Ed Here", his ID says he's age 12. Anyway, how old are they?

Never been officialy decreed. —May the Edit be with you, always. (T|C) 14:43, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

He was already measured at the age of 11 and he was meausering himself of the age of 12.

One of the artists for ed edd n eddy stated that they where twelve years old. -- Enchantz 30 July 2007

Contradiction

I made a mistake, I meant to say season 3 for Nazz's voice. Anyway, I wanted to mention it because it appears to say Nazz had two voices that season. Jade Owl 13:07, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Next Special Event

"However, 2 11-minute episodes of season 6 were already in production, so CN will air them together as part of a special event." When I tried to add this to the article, someone got rid of it. Is it because there is not enough information yet? Deoxys911 07:23, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Season 6 or not?

I thought CN said that season 6 will consist of a new episode and a movie. However, they now tell us that they aren't working on a sixth season? Can somebody help me? I'm confused? - B.J.

removed comments

hey guys, i've been reading the archives of this talk page and have noticed that some comments were not archived (I don't know if this is because an editor accidentally reverted to an earlier revision, mistook it for vandalism or some unscrupulous editor censored it). for example, the comments in this revision were not included in archive 1. In the future, if anyone is reverting the page, please make sure you don't remove legit comments because the archive pages serve to offer better insight into the past of the article. --Philip Laurence 15:08, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
