Unreferenced (almost)...
As of this time, the article is completely unreferenced, with exception of the last single-sentence paragraph. A lot of data is reported, without the ability to verify its correctness. Also, many conclusions are drawn from the data. These opinions and conclusions appear to be original research, as they are all unsourced as well. I am going to nominate the article for deletion. This will allow at least seven days for discussion and improvement on the article. If the issues with the article are resolved by the end of discussion, it has a much better chance of being kept. —Josh3580talk/hist 04:59, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
The lead-in paragraph (sentence) is not representative of the information given in the article and should be rewritten to introduce the breadth of the article. There are two subsections dealing with globalization in the Caribbean but neither contains a single cited piece of information. Should include a History of Caribbean Economies, dealing with development and globalization from the colonial period to present at the least. Also, the section "Women and Globalization" seems to give a disproportionate amount of information on emigration of women from the Caribbean to "Host Countries" like the U.S., UK and Canada to work in Healthcare. It also seems to draw conclusions to the benefit of the healthcare industry on women emigrating from Caribbean countries...Tboatcap (talk) 18:36, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
