There has been considerable changing of the guard at the University of Cincinnati's Counseling Program which is based on Ecological precepts. Counseling people within the context of their built and natural habitat is still being taught and practiced. I'm updating the broken link and will try to make myself useful in gathering more information about this and any other programs based on Ecological Counseling. Although I did not formally matriculate at U of C Robert K. Conyne, Ph.D. the department head at the time was a great mentor and source of encouragement over a 4 year period during which time I served on the Executive Board of both Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine Community Council and Findlay Market's Executive Board. Study of Dr. Conyne and Dr. Ellen P. Cook's collaborative books was of immeasurable value in doing contextual group work while embedded in both Boards as well as my work as a senior team lead in Fifth Third Bank's, IT Division.
