Gulf coastal plain ?

This WP article contains a statement that the geographic range of Necturus punctatus "may extend westward along Gulf coastal plain". However, no citation for this statement appears in the text of the article. I have been unable to find anything in the scientific literature supporting this statement. (I did find the same statement without citations on other websites, probably just repeating WP.) Unless someone can come up with a proper citation, I think this suggested extension of geographic range should be deleted. 74.109.236.194 (talk) 01:30, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
