Washington DC area Drug Fair

There was a completely unrelated Drug Fair chain operating in the Washington DC area (evidently headquartered in Alexandria VA) from around 1950. It was in direct competition with People's, these two chains being quite ubiquitous in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Drug Fair was acquired by Gray Drugs in 1981, but it was only 5 years later that Gray Drugs started to close up shop.

Technically, I suppose this could be handled by a redirect from "Drug Fair (Washington DC)" to Gray Drug, though that hardly seems to do it justice. (FWIW, there is a Drug Fair entry in the List of defunct retailers of the United States specifying it as the Alexandria-based chain, but it links to the New Jersey-based Drug Fair article. Sigh.)
