Basic nitrogen?

Assuming the nitrogen atom really is basic (as is stated in the first paragraph), then wouldn't that mean that all nitrogen atoms are basic? Would this not make the word basic in the first paragraph a bit redundant/unnecessary?

Alternatives to D.

I wrote the passage on residues and on alternatives. this was compressed to a single ref because of "reliance to primary sources". I dont see which ones are primary, Smokefoot. I dont think alternatives should be mentioned under environmental fate.--Wuerzele (talk) 03:43, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for leaving a note. The citations that I removed were some of the following primary sources listed below. Per WP:SECONDARY, primary sources are basically narrowly focused reports that are non-ideal sources to support statements within Wikipedia. The article currently has three sources for apple scald treatment.
