Start class:
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox
  • Red XN A lead section giving an overview of the artist/band
    - Current Lead barely introduces artist/band, the single sentence is difficult to read. A brief summary of the artist's career is needed here. Also decide whether this is an article about JJ Peters (should get his full name for first appearance e.g. Joseph "JJ" Peters or similar) or his solo project or the band Deez Nuts. Infobox gives band members - therefore it is not a solo project/pseudonym for JJ Peters. However, almost all of the article treats Deez Nuts as the same as JJ Peters (alone) by referring to "he"; which means it is a solo project. Last sentence seems to imply the article is about a band called Deez Nuts containing JJ (should use Peters when referring to the individual after first time) and his friends.
  • Green tickY Reference to artist's primary bands/associated acts
  • Red XN Categorisation at least by main genre and origin
    - missing origin, e.g. People from Victoria (Australia) or similar. Other possible CATs are: Living people, Australian drummers, Year of birth missing (living people)

C-class:

    – only two independent references, many claims are unsupported
  • Green tickY A casual reader should learn something about the artist/band

B-class:

  • Red XN All the C-class criteria
  • Red XN A completed infobox, including photo (were available) and most technical details
  • Red XN A full list of band membership, including instrumentation and time span with each band/solo period(s)
  • Red XN A full discography including charting history (or a link to such an article)
  • Red XN No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources
    – all sections need additional in-line references, all sources used need to be reliable
  • Red XN No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
    – article appears to be largely the artist's history for 2007–2008 with little else. Some sections of the article read like a blog/MySpace/advert
  • Red XN No obvious omissions, but also no obvious extraneous information – such as "trivia"
    – Lead section needs considerable beefing up. No information on background of artist/band prior to professional career, little detail of associated act(s) other than membership.

Deez Nuts → Deez Nuts (band) – This band is not unambiguously the primary topic of "Deez Nuts". In addition to the original Dr. Dre track and the general usage of this phrase for pranks, there is now a joke US presidential candidate who has managed to get national press and (for the moment) a Wikipedia article.
