To do
- Add Thierry Ganchou's study arguing that David's second wife Helena never existed.
- Try to determine whether there is evidence that Uzun Hassan had made an attempt to capture Trebizond around the time David was executed. (So Sergei Karpov has asserted.)
- Add notice that a number of people, both nobly-born & otherwise, claimed descent from a son of David who managed to survive the executions. All of these claims have been proven false. -- llywrch (talk) 21:18, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
