Actually the station was known as WTOP for most of this period. He was part of the newscast team with anchors Gordon Peterson and Max Robinson, with Warner Wolf and his "Boo of the Week" on sports. Robinson and Wolf went on to national network assignments. Davey Marlin Jones' film reviews were always entertaining. I can still remember his 1971 review of the rat movie "Willard" with Ernest Borgnine (Willard (1971 film)). It was hysterical.Tom Cod 04:19, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
