Orphaned references in Daria Berenato

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Daria Berenato's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

MMA Win / Loss Record for Daria Berenato

When reading her win / loss record, it goes backwards chronologically. Her first fight has a 2-1 record against, the second has a 1-1 record and her last fight shows a 0-1 record. This should be amended to run correctly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:D81A:F700:A4EF:EF5C:3527:9A79 (talk) 10:42, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gay or Lesbian?

Some sources even outside wikipedia says that she is Gay or some says that she is Lesbian. There's a confusion here which should've be cleared who is she? CK (talk) 09:04, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A female homosexual person is a lesbian. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:52, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Fylindfotberserk: Thanks for clarification and Joining, Actually there are some articles on wikipedia especially Darren Young where His Personal Life section shows that his mother is gay on interview(Lady as Gay) as he said in his interview, this is also confusion, I personally discussed about various WWE LGBT wrestlers with my friend he said to me that a lady cannot be a gay as same as you replied me statement here, so HOW DARREN YOUNG'S MOTHER CAN BE A GAY?, Visit Darren Young's article. CK (talk) 11:52, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Gay just means homosexual, i.e. a sexual attraction to someone of the same gender. Women can and do identify as gay as well; there is absolutely no requirement for a homosexual woman to be referred as a lesbian.
In this case, Berenato's article states she is a lesbian because that is what the sources says. "I'm a lesbian" is the actual quote from the source Had the source said "I'm gay", then that's what we have listed. We go by sources: WP:V.
"there is absolutely no requirement for a homosexual woman to be referred as a lesbian."

Other than that's the definition of "lesbian". To claim otherwise just make you look foolish20:40, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

The source for Darren Young's mother is a video, 1.5 hours long, which I have neither the time nor the inclination to watch. However, what is listed in Darren Young's article is irrelevant to what is stated here. Like I said, we go by sources. NiciVampireHeart 12:59, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Broken nutshell:, Exactly what Nick said here. Go by the sources. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:03, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Thanks. CK (talk) 16:46, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MMA Record Should be Amateur, Not Professional

I don't know how to change this within the MMArecordbox, but the 3 fights listed for Berenato are all amateur fights, not professional, so the "Professional Record Breakdown" title is misleading. Can anyone help? ChessPlayerLev (talk) 03:27, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Loser leaves WWE match

Please do not edit this article to state that Deville is no longer employed with WWE unless it is accompanied by a reliable source. Losing a "loser leaves town" match in storyline does not necessarily mean that she is no longer actually employed with the company. It could be a pretext for her taking time off for injury, other work such as acting or MMA, or personal reasons. —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:19, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gay or lesbian (again)

If you want to replace "gay" with "lesbian", then cite new sources. The current citations just use gay. There is nothing such as lesbian there.[1][2]: said Deville—who is Daria Berenato, the first openly gay female wrestler in WWE history... --Mann Mann (talk) 20:08, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

By definition, a homosexual woman is called lesbian, a homosexual man is called gay. Citations misusing these terms is no reason for WP to follow suite. Also, the consensus on the talk page (see #Gay or Lesbian? favours "lesbian". Str1977 (talk) 20:43, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
PS. Besides this, Darren Young is also called the "first openly gay wrestler in WWE". If he is that, Sonya Deville cannot be the same. Only one can be first. Finally, if it is really so unacceptable to call her a "lesbian", why then did the article say she "came out as a lesbian"? Str1977 (talk) 20:45, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Str1977: Actually the summary of that discussion was this: we should follow what sources say. Also from article gay:
  • By the end of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century, the word gay was recommended by major LGBT groups and style guides to describe people attracted to members of the same sex,[4][5] although it is more commonly used to refer specifically to men.[6]
  • Well into the mid 20th century a middle-aged bachelor could be described as "gay", indicating that he was unattached and therefore free, without any implication of homosexuality. This usage could apply to women too.
  • Gay: Used to describe men and women attracted to the same sex, though lesbian is the more common term for women...
It is not about gay vs. lesbian. Both terms are acceptable if sources use them. Homosexual women call themselves gay too. It is not as common as lesbian, but it is not someting strange or male specific. The Source say "gay female", so she is the first female homosexual person in WWE. What is unclear about it? Also, I myself added the "lesbian" part to the the article.[3] Plus, what's the point of this discussion when you just restored your changes immediately?[4] You said: as per talk... When did we get consensus? Let me request for comment by some active members of WPPW and users who edited this article in the past. @CeltBrowne, Czello, HHH Pedrigree, JDC808, KyleJoan, LM2000, McPhail, Oknazevad, and Prefall: Your thoughts? --Mann Mann (talk) 08:52, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Besides this, Darren Young is also called the "first openly gay wrestler in WWE". If he is that, Sonya Deville cannot be the same.
No one's saying she is. The line is first openly gay female. (Also, changing it to "first openly lesbian female" doesn't make much sense).
But to the main point, if the majority of the sources say "gay" then we should, too. — Czello (music) 09:13, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Probably safest to stick verbatim to what the sources say, unless there's a source with Deville referring to herself as a lesbian. McPhail (talk) 09:55, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
