Embossing tape

Is the white text of embossing tape due to crazing? —Ben FrantzDale (talk) 11:50, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Solvent-induced crazing

Should *really* be mentioned. --88.66.5.111 (talk) 14:45, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

General issues

This article needs some work. Ldm1954 (talk) 08:46, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well deserved rework of the topic

The article is now very deeply improved. I would just note that the introduction is a bit too long and some concepts are compressed in too few words, while better expressed in the following sections. It would be probably better to streamline the intro and move quickly to the historical stuff, where the phenomenon is indeed very clearly described in non technical words.

Thank you for the great improvement. LuKePicci (talk) 13:23, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your feedback about the introduction. While I considered shortening it, I felt it was important to mention topics like crazing in different polymers and stress whitening, even if briefly, to give readers a comprehensive overview. These topics should be expanded in future updates, I welcome others to do so, in order to provide additional depth to the article. FedeJ12 (talk) 14:36, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Review

The article sounds very good and is improved very well. I really appreciate the description of the crazing mechanism, distingushing it by different phases. Also the introduction and the historical background are good (probably, they could be summarized). I have correct some very little mistakes and my suggestion is to put more external links, if available, in order to deepen the topic. Thanks for your article and improvement. Thank you very much for the review. I tend to be wordy sometimes I know... I did not find many links I was comfortable sharing because a lot of what is available on internet links lacks enough scientific depth in my opinion. FedeJ12 (talk) 14:28, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Really well written, frankly I couldn't find anything to correct. Great job! Xebe22 (talk) 13:54, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much I really appreciate it. FedeJ12 (talk) 14:24, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
