Problem

can u tell me about the problem that always involved with the crankcase?

Not animated

The four-stroke gif is not animated like the two-stroke image above. I assume it's a mistake since there's an animated one here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:4-Stroke-Engine.gif I'd replace it if I knew how. But then again, perhaps there's a point behind the madness =)

  • No reason given for the move; the present hatnote suffices as disambiguation. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 15:20, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose this "Transformers"-IP-editor never leaves a reason, and never seems to read his/her talk page. All his/her move requests should be automatically denied. 70.29.210.155 (talk) 04:54, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support move this page and add the disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.142.152.104 (talk) 15:46, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - No rationale given for move, and it shouldn't be moved. I'm tempted to speedy close all of these for that reason but with only 3 days left I think it's better to let them run their course so there's no issues afterward. I have struck out the IP's attempt to !vote unsigned (I presume the thought process was that nobody would notice the request and the !vote came from the same IP). --Sable232 (talk) 21:37, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move. To me the primary meaning is ordinary crankcase. Let page Crankcase be the disambig page. What are the figures for people accessing each of these pages? The incoming links to page Crankcase seem to be mostly from engine related pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.142.152.104 (talk) 00:25, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"sealed crankcase"

The latest changes should be reverted. Where does "sealed crankcase" come from? That's an invented wiki-neologism. The correct and COMMONNAME term would be crankcase-compression engines, as it was before. Andy Dingley (talk) 00:12, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
