Use of term in geomorphology
The term 'counterscarp' is also deployed as an alternative to 'counter-slope scarp' in geomorphology to denote what in terms of the immediate landslide landform context, for example, is a backward-facing scarp. Geopersona (talk) 14:43, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
