Talk:Compass Group

This is a sorry example of the way some editors write about what they want to write about rather than writing a balanced article about the subject at hand. All the corruption stuff is unsourced and it is wildly disproportionate to the rest of the article. Carina22 17:06, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

>>> Please; check the sources mentioned at the end of the article. FOXNEWS has published many articles on this scandal. Just one of them here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,184495,00.html

Like Fox News are known for their fair unbiased reporting!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.13.152.47 (talk) 06:11, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Information deleted

Someone has been deleting interesting info from this article, regarding the United Nations corruption scandal. Was it the Public Relations staff of Compass? Beware of the three revert rule, this can be considered as vandalism.

The story is notable and deserves to be listed in the article at least somewhere. It can also be edited to include the information about the $40 million settlement that Compass Group has paid to settle the two cases brought against them. Fox News and the UN Vs Compass Group.

I found the removed data and better sources like the BBC and the Guardian Newspaper (UK).90.244.93.79 (talk) 21:48, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

UN controversy

The entire section direly needs cleaning up. It lacks flow, both in literary and factual senses, and even has areas which repeat entire phrases. --82.15.40.185 (talk) 21:49, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced statements

Please keep in mind WP:CITE#HOW. Unsourced statements can be deleted. Do not put references in the External links section or Sources section. Link them to the text in the article. --SueHay 03:48, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ISIN incorrect

Hi all,

article states

  • ISIN GB0005331532

as the ISIN of the company's share.

This seems IMHO to be incorrect. My view is that

  • ISIN GB00BD6K4575

is the correct ISIN of the company's share.

Sorry, I don't know how to change the ISIN in the article. A "good fellow" may check my statement and in consequence may change the ISIN.

Thank you, and take care! --2003:EE:8717:1700:15FA:3F7E:75CF:6A20 (talk) 20:22, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
