Should this topic be changed to Coalport (GWR) railway station? Since there were two stations at Coalport, one on each side of the River Severn, originally operated by two seperate companies.7severn7 11:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Since this query, the page has been renamed in accordance with Butt and convention. However I have been unable to find any evidence that the name "Coalport West" was used in practice, as per the references in the paragraph I have added. If Butt is correct in his statement at the station was renamed by BR, then it may perhaps have been for internal administrative purposes only. I have nevertheless left the page named as it stands.
