It is claimed Balthid has been given to Clovis by his master of the palace Ebroin. However, Ebroin only becaim master of the palace in 658 (according the article on Ebroin) whereas Clothar III, one of Clovis' and Balthid's sons, was born in 652, an apparent contradiction.
--- I am concerned about the photograph. The filename of the photograph suggests it is Theuderic and Martel. The caption says it is Clovis II and Martel. Pyobon (talk) 12:45, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
