There is a valid fair-use rationale on the photo's description page for its use in this article. Zeng8r (talk) 21:28, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not too sure how to do this, but it looks like reference 17 is MILES off? Links to a completely different country. Thanks, Xavier.

Record Low Conflict

Weather.com says that Tampa's record low was 18℉ - but doesn't list a date or time. The National Weather Service has the record low as 29℉ set on January 18, 2018 - equaling a record set in 1981. Tampa, St. Pete and Lakeland set record low temps on Thursday

The web site cites NWS. I need to revise the article with a direct link. It's a big difference in temperature. Charles Oppermann (talk) 21:05, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That news article is worded poorly; it's talking about a record low for that date, not all-time, which is why it also says that 29 was the lowest temp in Tampa since 1981. The all-time record low was indeed 18 degrees and was set on December 13, 1962. Here's a link to a chart from the National Weather Service, which should probably be used as a citation: [1] Zeng8r (talk) 21:51, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Whoops, my mistake. You are indeed correct. Thank you. Charles Oppermann (talk) 21:55, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
