Should Chrome Lacrosse Club be a seperate page?
So we've just moved the old Chrome page to this page, but I was just wondering if its worth considering having a seperate Chrome page instead. When the Rams moved to St Louis there is still a St Louis Rams page, same with the San Diego chargers, and for a lacrosse example there's still a New England Blackwolves page. I feel like in my mind, this isn't like the other teams where they just gave them home cities and those teams can be moved to new pages, it feels much closer to like when a team moves. I personally feel that Chrome Lacrosse Club should have it's own page as a "former professional field lacrosse team" and let the Denver Outlaws (PLL) start from the 2024 season and on.
TLDR: Split this page into Chrome Lacrosse Club and Denver Outlaws (PLL)

- Chrome Lacrosse Club should retain its own page and be treated as a team that has suspended operations. The original Denver Outlaws page should be linked to the PLL team. Per Paul Rabil, "getting to Denver without bringing back the Outlaws didn't make a lot of sense, so we made the tough decision of sparing one of our teams, perhaps just for now." leaving the door open for a Chrome return. - I agree. If you look at the NLL, when teams rebrand, a new page is created and links are created between them (see the Washington Power rebranding to the Colorado Mammoth, for an example of this). SammySpartan (talk) 17:38, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- If the Chrome had rebranded as the "Dallas Knights," a move that would have not involved much of a rebrand, then "Chrome Lacrosse Club" should have just been renamed to "Dallas Knights." Chrome should retains its own page.
- However, this is a relaunch of a team that already existed. There does not need to be two separate Denver Outlaws pages, just like there is only one Boston Cannons page, when the Cannons moved to the PLL. In addition, the PLL acknowledges MLL stats as their own in one big "pro lacrosse" record book. Finally, once the PLL expands again, there is a general feeling more former MLL teams will be revitalized. Please merge the two Denver Outlaws pages. Marlinite (talk) 22:11, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- I disagree with merging the two Outlaws pages. Branding aside, they're basically two unaffiliated organizations with entirely different personnel operating in entirely separate leagues. The cannons kept the same page because there was significant continuity (personnel and players) between the two teams.
