Suggestions to improve article

In the description section, it gives the weight of one seed as 1.3mg (0.020g). That mg weight and g weight are not equivalent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tangobango (talkcontribs) 16:54, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What do chia seeds taste like? WordwizardW (talk) 21:07, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's a question for a Google search. The talk page is to discuss how to improve the article using WP:RS sources, and is not a forum or blog, WP:NOTFORUM. Zefr (talk) 21:41, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

– The seed is now a common and popular food worldwide, and it is the primary topic for "chia". Per 1Y pageviews, Chia seed received 60k monthly views, and all similar-named items in total around 68k (as expected, the cryptocurrency had a peak when it was at its prime). Use of Non-Metric Measurements

I note that the fibre comparison chart uses ounces and cups. Given the international audience for Wikipedia and that 94% of the planet's population use the metric system, let's use only metric measures. Also, fruit vary in size. It would be helpful to give the weight of them. PB (talk) 13:24, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that table as WP:NOTEVERYTHING. The nutrition information, including the high content of dietary fiber, is clear from the USDA table and text. Zefr (talk) 15:48, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Salvia Polystachia

Would seeds of Salvia Polystachia also be considered chia seeds and have similar properties to seeds from S. Hispanicus? 95.193.99.90 (talk) 09:36, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
