I'll be reviewing this against the WP:GAC in due course. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:32, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- Comments - this is very good indeed. I have a few comments, most of which probably supercede the GA criteria, but which I think are worth addressing...
- "... into a thriving suburb..." - a bit WP:PEACOCK for me, unless it was a direct quote?
- "...local partnership meetings..." - what are these?
- "...and steps." - can you clarify?
- "After some years..." - not particularly encyclopedic.
- "... in August they reached Crewe" - perhaps "...that August..." to avoid ambiguity.
- "Cheadle Station" - is Station capitalised for a reason?
- "quarter of a mile"- no translation into metric here and should this be hyphenated?
- Link Congleton first time round.
- "a huge influx" per first comment - this needs citation or direct quoting. Perhaps I've missed it?
- "A train carrying schoolchildren..." presumably not just schoolchildren - was it a school service? I think it needs clarification.
- "Cheadle Hulme public house" just a check - is the pub called "Cheadle Hulme"?
- Yes, it is.
- "...and is now due to begin in 2009..." -it is 2009, midway through - can you be more specific?
- ISBN numbers seem to be formatted differently, i.e. 0-905164-99-7 vs 0905164008 and 1-85058-674-8 vs 1858952328... can you check these?
- First external link is repetition of the links in the infobox.

- I can't say fairer than that. Passes, easily. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:07, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your review - do you have any advice as to how I could take it further? (FA) Majorly talk 19:09, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'll get back to you on that. Congrats on the GA. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
