I will work on this. Changed tone refers almost exclusively to morphological and lexical tone changes, rather than tone sandhi—although tone sandhi also exists in Cantonese. The changed tone occurs as well in other Yue dialects, like Taishanese, which lack tone sandhi. Bauer and Benedict spent quite a bit of time on this topic; their sub-chapter on changed tones is larger than some of their chapters. Aaron Lee (talk) 23:53, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
