It would be very helpful if with the statement
"Given two central simple algebras A ~ M(n,S) and B ~ M(m,T) over the same field F, A and B are called similar (or Brauer equivalent) if their division rings S and T are isomorphic."
a) the notation "~" and "M(n,S)" and "M(m,T)" is explained, and
b) the reason for using these equivalences is also explained.
In an encyclopedia is it not good enough to merely write something that is mathematially correct. It must be understandable as well. 2601:200:C000:1A0:90E6:F29F:F511:B9ED (talk) 18:25, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
