Something is wrong somewhere.

Yet in Fatalii it says "The Fatalii is a chili pepper of Capsicum chinense that originates in central and southern Africa."

So which is wrong? --Dmforcier (talk) 00:29, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fatalii was probably imported there just like it was imported into China and integrated into popular Chinese dishes. The Carolina Ghost Pepper isn't native to the Carolinas but it was developed and bred there just like Capsicums all over the world.--47.157.27.56 (talk) 19:02, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong cultivar?

Carolina Reaper is shown as a cultivar of the 7-pot chili. The Carolina Reaper page says it is a hybrid of the Bhut Jalokia (Ghost Pepper) and Habanero. Other references say the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rstarcher (talk • contribs) 15:10, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
