Alfred Hitchcock involvement
The December 2019 edit by user Cardei012597 that Hitchcock was "slated to direct but... quit over a dispute" is not borne out by the citation which, being a blog post, may regardless not be a trusted source. The sixth episode of the first season of Chucky is titled "Cape Queer"
