The species Calochortus weedii has several varieties, one of which, C. weedii var. vestus was awarded species status as C. fimbriatus in about 2000 by McDonald. I have created this new article to reflected that, while trying to retain as much of the original article as was appropriate to the new species. Georgeruns (talk) 22:46, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
