Buckey not Bucky

In an attempt to head off the inevitable attempts to "correct" the spelling of O'Neill's nickname, the spelling preferred by the article subject was "Buckey". For verification and additional detail please see:

  • Shwartz, John (March 26, 1998). "Buckey o'neill's prowess at Faro led to nickname". Prescott: The Daily Courier. pp. 4A.

For better or worse there are many sources that do misspell Buckey. --Allen3 talk 13:56, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Popular Culture Section?

I'm not sure if this is notable enough, O'Neill is mentioned in the 1st episode of the 1st season of Clarence. Is that sufficient notability? ERBuermann (talk) 20:40, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
