The triangular part of inferior frontal gyrus (IFGTr) is the same thing as Brodmann area 45. They use the same medical diagrams to point to their location. Out of the three terms for this area of the brain (Brodmann area 45, pars triangularis, and IFGTr), Brodmann area 45 is most commonly acknowledged and searched for (202,000 Google search results, as opposed to 48,000 and 17,000 for pars trigularis and IFGTr, respectively). -Iamozy (talk) 00:02, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

The searches referred to are not really relevant as searches for Brodmann areas would be for those cytoarchitectural regions and searches for triangular part would be for the anatomy descriptions. For this reason i am proposing a change back. --Iztwoz (talk) 11:49, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

- I came here from the note at WT:NEURO. I note that most of the pages in Category:Brodmann areas are named by the Brodmann number rather than the anatomical name. And it seems redundant to me to have both this page and the page about 44 + 45. I'm inclined to say we should leave the pagename as it is for the time being, and hold an RfC about how to handle nomenclature for the category as a whole. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:38, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
