Anti-English bias

Guess which country is massively under-represented in this talking shop? Well, it could only be England, because any of the others would kick up a fuss and storm out if they didn't get "fair" representation. So England, with over 75% of the combined population, ends up with a very fair maximum of 25 delegates out of 68! (Less any of the Members of the UK Parliament who aren't English - probably quite a few). LukeHoC 12:05, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't it strange that the largest and most populous country in the UK is completely ignored when it comes to devolution? The UK government must be running scared of giving England any power at all over fears where that might lead to. Damn pathetic hypocrites! YourPTR! 03:12, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's The Point?

I've read the article but I am none the wiser as to the real need for this assembly. It would be helpful if a clearer definition were provided, rather than this vague representation. I'm sure I'm not alone in being oblivious of its existance until I came upon the name quite by chance. Would I be wrong in assuming it was the brainchild of the Irish - to further facilitate their exploitation of the UK market and interfere in British politics?; yet another example of the paddy 5th column in Britain? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.78.242.184 (talk) 19:30, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
