Keep. Yes, the decision was revoked, but it was unusual enough, and caused sufficient controversy, to warrant maintaining a record of the event. BrainyBabe 14:23, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. Aye, we need to hear of other individuals who might have agreed with the opinion Faro0485 (talk) 07:54, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please add a definition of 'rada' that is understandable? "The suckling which produces the legal impediment to marriage of foster-kinship" is hard to parse. Kaldari (talk) 07:23, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rada of an adult is fabrication. In Islam appearing unveiled before an adult man is haram and so an Islamic woman can never breastfeed an adult man even for the first time since it exposes her private part and then both the male who was breastfed and the woman who breastfed him will be entitled for 100 lashes as punishment. And since according to the Rada fabricated law, a woman has to breastfeed a stranger many time before they eventually be in a mother child relationship, they should be lashed every time it happens. Say a woman has to breastfeed an adult male 5 times to establish the relationship. She will be doing haram 5 times. The 5th time while she breastfeeds him will also be haram because since she has to finish the breastfeeding the 5th time before their relationship is established. Will they take 100 lashes every time she breastfeeds the stranger?. Secondly if this rule were to be true than it would have been widely in practice and today Islamic women would readily breastfeed a stranger if that stranger wants to be with her for a while. On the contrary, today if a man asks an Islamic woman to breastfeed him because he wants to establish mother child relationship with her, he will get all types of Muhammad Ali punches on his own private parts. Breastfeeding in Islam

The term "rada" is not a common English word, and even Arabicized it can be confused with Raza, Ridda etc. I think "breastfeed in Islam" would be a better title.VR talk 11:06, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Although the literal meaning of the word "rada" is to suckle or breastfeed someone, it is also used for saying drinking breast milk or giving breast milk to some one. For details I suggest this article. It explains all the issues related to this topic and the meaning of the word- the%20rada%20issue Ishan87 (talk) 23:56, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
