Birthdate

Are there any other sources for the birthdate? The Annuario Pontificio 2002 p665 (the last published before he died) indicates he was born in the year 1935 but does not specify a date. The only reference I can find to the precise date is the one in the footnote. Unfortunately that source has at least one other error that makes me doubt its accuracy, namely that he was elevated to Archbishop on "5 April 1995". In the Acta Apostolicae Sedis 86 (1994) p554 and again on p779 indicate the date was 14 March 1994. That date is also shown in the AP 2002. I also found a reference in The Nambian, dated 12 Sep 1986, stating he was "born in Kavango in 1933" citing an affidavit [1].--Dcheney (talk) 08:31, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I notice goes with "1933 or 1935". The Dictionary of African Christian Biography has 1933 (but no more specific date). I would have thought the affadavit would be pretty strong evidence, so I think we can say the Annuario Pontificio is wrong. St Anselm (talk) 09:22, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
