Request Edit to Blu eCigs

Hello,

I would like to request an edit to this page concerning the person you have listed as the Founder of Blu ECigs. The real founder of Blu Ecigs is Raymond Scott Coffman ( Charlotte, NC ). He was the creator, person who provided all of the capitol and true founder. Jason Healy was hired to help run Blu Ecigs by Scott Coffman. Scott Coffman is also the founder of AEBN. He created Blu ECigs with the idea of selling the company so he wanted a clear line between Blu ECigs and the Adult company. Hence, Jason Healy running Blu ECigs. BUT... Jason Healy never founded Blu ECigs period. He was paid as an employee with small share percentage. Nothing more nothing less. Please research this more and give credit to the man who actually had the vision and did all the work.

Thank you... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacksonfordcanada (talkcontribs) 22:56, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

True blu Founder story

Just in case anyone cares here is the real story of how blu started. Jason Healy was approached by another ecig company in 2008 to get involved with their company as an investor and contributor. They weren't willing to continually improve their product and change their branding so Healy decided it would be best to start from scratch. While using a prototype he had dinner with Scott Coffman who Healy had known for several years. Coffman asked about the product and what Healy planned to. Healy told Coffman that we was going to start an ecig company and return to Australia. Coffman suggested he do it in the US and said he would get the investors (which he did) and then after a few months of research and organizing investors the company was started. Coffman played an important role for Healy not only with investment but also as a partner in the direction of the company. At worst you could say they co-founded the company together but the initial steps into blu were started by Healy. End of discussion, this is how it happened and has been well documented and can be supported by people who were actually there and are still at the company today. The very first employee of blu can substantiate this and is still an employee of the parent company. The only reason this has now become an issue is because Coffman is raising funds for other projects and he or people associated with him want to use the credit as blu as proof of start up success. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trdd74 (talkcontribs) 18:42, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you find sources covering this that would help. QuackGuru (talk) 03:36, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Founder Discussion With References

Just to clear some things up. Jason Healy has always been recognized as the founder of blu eCigs (now just blu), "The founder of Blu Cigs, battery-powered electronic cigarettes....Jason Healy, president of the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company" [1], "'You’ll meet more people than ever, just because of the wow factor,' said Jason Healy, the founder of Blu" [2]. The company who currently ownes the blu brand Fontem Ventures (owned by Imperial Brands) recognizes him as the founder "blu eCigs was founded in 2009 by noted entrepreneur and Australia native Jason Healy" [3]. He was also recognized as the founder in a national TV ad broadcast in the US [4]. Thatsplunkintalk (talk) 07:50, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
