Starting Black Stream

Please consider helping me in writing this new article--Anuraag Vaidya 06:50, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citing

I have many Citing pages for this article, (many organizations) working on black stream. I will be listing them, please give me some time. --Anuraag Vaidya 07:05, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Do not delete

I know what Wikipedia is concerned with, but since this new research is popular in many countries, by deleting it you will be removing a good topic article. Searching black stream can save various cancers. If you still wish to delete it, its your own choice. It's pity, these days most needed articles are being deleted instead of trying to find out more content out of them. --Anuraag Vaidya 06:54, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could you add the sources you mentioned in the section above to the article or at least list them here ? That way we can make sure they qualify as reliable sources by wikipedia's standard, and if they are sufficient to establish notability of the subject. Abecedare (talk) 09:31, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Surely, Please give me a day so I can prepare a list of citations. --Anuraag Vaidya 10:41, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That should be fine. In case you haven't done so already, you should read wikipedia's policy on Reliable Sources to get an idea of what time of references are needed. I have also left a message with a few more useful links on your talk page. Abecedare (talk) 11:21, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I would add: the claim that "Many scientists around the world have found that a Black Stream can cause Cancer if a person sleeps or stays over it for too much time." is extraordinary. How many scientists have "found" this? LeContexte (talk) 12:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for waiting. I have found a few sources (Official), but I have never cited before, can somebody cite them for me? --Anuraag Vaidya 11:40, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I can help you add them to the article, if you can list them here on the talk page. To begin with, if the sources are available online, you can simply provide the URL; if they are books you should list the author and title; for journal articles you should provide the journal name, article title, author and year. By the way, what sources did you use to write the current content of the article ? You should provide those sources too. Abecedare (talk) 12:47, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have used the following book to write this article.
  • Book name:Anyone can Dowse for better health.
  • Author:Arthur Bailey
  • Years of print: 1st Indian edition- 1999 Reprint edition 2000-2001
  • Book Code:BB-5373
  • ISBN: 91-7021-905-1

--Anuraag 13:14, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have this book, refer topic number 13, or topic starting from page 151.--Anuraag 13:17, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Black stream article on School of Indian Dowsers & Geomancy's official website. [1]
It is on Amazon, but does not seem to meet our criteria as a reliable source - WP:RS. Or notability. dougweller (talk) 13:25, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, Let's remove the content from the Book, but we can include the same from Indian Dowsers?--Anuraag 13:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Note, This topic is very important, please try to find other sources on black stream too, its a new concept but proved.--Anuraag 13:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD

I think that the section Do Not Delete means the prod should be removed. I am therefore taking this to AfD as it is not notable so far as I can see. The article is extremely pov also although that isn't necessarily a reason to delete an article. dougweller (talk) 13:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That may be true, but why is it marked a Fringe topic?--Anuraag 13:38, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hint to write

On the basis of the mentioned article, can some tell me guidelines to write the information here? If you want I can mail somebody the copy of the mail I sent to SIDG to ask for the permission to publish the article and permission to edit.--Anuraag 14:05, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean 'publish the article'? We can't use email permissions. We can't use the article as evidence that it is real, either, see WP:RS. In fact, we can't say it is real without reliable sources, ie scientific ones. In any case, there already is an article, so this should just be a redirect to Earth radiation although that has its own problems. dougweller (talk) 15:09, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete it now

Fine. Delete this article now. Instead of trying to improve it, You guys are creating a dispute without any reason. Wikipedia deserves deletion of this article. This article is not meant to be here.--Anuraag 15:45, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
