Biography / Discography - first album
the first album by the Bireli Lagrene Ensemble, "Routes To Django - live At The Krokdil", was released as a single LP in 1980 on the German label jazzpoint records (jazzpoint 1003 - GEMA LC 7223) [1] -- it was re-released on the US label Antilles in 1982 (AN 1002) [2] -- it was re-reissued as part of a CD on jazzpoint in 1998 - "This beautifully packaged two-disc German set reissues the first of Lagrene's solo albums, the live Routes To Django (1980, with one previously unreleased bonus track), and the similar studio recording, Bireli Swing '81 (1981)."
