The information presented within the article contain inaccuracies

First, the information presented here is inaccurate and overly simplified " Bioglasses are divided to two categories:[3] Class A bioglasses are osteoproductive. They bind with both soft tissues and bone. The HCA layer forms within several hours. Class B bioglasses are osteoconductive. Bond to soft tissues is not facilitated. The HCA layer takes one to several days to form. "

The bioactive response of materials is divided into class A and class B. The terms osteoproductive and osteoconductive are used properly here, but the statement regarding the time for the HCA layer to form is not part of the definition nor is the statement regarding soft tissues or bone (See L. L. Hench, "The story of Bioglass (R)," Journal of Materials Science-Materials in Medicine, vol. 17, pp. 967-978, NOV, 2006.)

HCA? What is that?? Please do not use JARGON without first defining it. Bonds to bone? I really doubt that! I guess that bone bonds to it - through biological processes. But that assertion can easily be shown to be true/false by "bonding" it to dead tissue, or some similar experiment which has undoubtedly already been done. There is a failure to explain what is meant here, as well as very little explanation of the mechanisms in play.173.191.76.21 (talk) 12:03, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
