Planning new edits

Hello everyone! I am a 4th year medical student taking a WikiProject medicine course and am planning to edit this page over the course of this month. This page sees a fairly significant amount of daily traffic and I would like to make improvements that will help patients gain a better understanding of the anatomy and its significance. The article is currently rated as "C-Class" due to a lack of references and minimal content overall. My goal is to improve the article by expanding upon the information in each section and adding references to the information currently present. Below is a breakdown of my plans for each section of the page.

Introduction: As it currently stands, this section has no references at all. I hope to expand upon this section and add references to the information currently written.

Structure: I plan to expand upon this section and potentially add images to facilitate understanding of the textual information. I also plan to reformat the information that is currently present and add references as necessary.

Function: This section currently contains some great information but lacks references. I plan to add references to the information currently present and expand upon the section as needed.

Clinical significance: This is the section where I hope to make the greatest impact. I hope to expand upon the information present, especially to include information relevant to cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and choledocholithiasis, and add references where appropriate.

Content: The content is up-to-date and and is relevant to the topic. There can be more content added in the clinical significance section about cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis.

Tone and Balance: The tone of the content is neutral and it is not heavily biased. The writing is easy to read and easy to follow.

Sources and References: The references added are up-to-date and the links work. The sources are varied, reliable, and current. More references can be added to the clinical significance section.

Organization: The content is well organized and concise. The writing is clear and easy to read. The section on clinical significance may benefit from having separate paragraphs for cholecystitis, choledocholithiasis, and acute cholangitis.

Images and Media: The images are very useful and detailed. They are labelled and represent the anatomy discussed in the article, making it easy to visualize what the article is saying.

Overall impression: The content added improves the overall article and provides more information on the anatomy of the biliary tract and the clinical diseases associated with the biliary tract. I think the article can expand a little bit more in the clinical significance section with separate paragraphs for the different diseases.
