Puzzling sentence in lede
"He is active in the crossover field between classical and contemporary music, jazz, rock and world music." I don't know what this sentence means. There is no such genre as "crossover". "Active in" is a useless construction because it says nothing in particular. Encyclopedias are about specifics, about facts. And again I'm puzzled by the apparent fear of using the serial comma. I can find little about this man in English on the internet.
