Exact meaning
The entry reads a little confusing. Is the berm (as stated in the lead section, in Modern Usage, and in Other Appplications) the barrier/earth wall itself or is it, as suggested by the picture (and corresponding to OED and German usage of Berme), a terrace in the slope?--Iovis Fulmen (talk) 08:34, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
