I've moved the pages re "The Battle of the Sexes" (in all various capitalisations) around so that the lead target is now the dismbig page, especially given that links pointing here were relating to many of the other possible targets. Please disambig inbound links as required, thanks. --AlisonW (talk) 11:02, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who coined the phrase?

According to Oxford Dict.: The earliest known use of the phrase battle of the sexes is in the early 1700s. OED's earliest evidence for battle of the sexes is from 1723, in the writing of Samuel Wesley, Church of England clergyman and poet. 213.162.73.112 (talk) 08:43, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
