Invasion of Israel
The opening "The Egyptian regular army invaded Israel on May 15, 1948" would seem to me to be inaccurate.Padres Hana (talk) 14:16, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- cf "the Israelis launched Operation Horev, with the objective of expelling all Egyptian forces from Palestine." Padres Hana (talk) 14:19, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- It might be confusing to some people, so I'm thinking about how to make it more clear. However, there's nothing factually wrong with the two sentences. Israel (at the time) -> The Jewish State portion of the UN resolution; Palestine -> The area of both Jewish and Arab states. —Ynhockey (Talk) 19:25, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
