Spanish casualties
The event was extremly bloody, but estimation of casualties differ. Sañudo Bayón dialnet.unirioja.es/descarga/articulo/3643294.pdf propose 8,000 deaths and 2,000 prisoners (P.37). But the French army units that buried the deaths after the battle counted 16,002 Spanish soldiers, which were thrown into mass graves (P.38-39). --Bentaguayre (talk) 21:46, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
