Will review soon. Skyshiftertalk 22:29, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
General comments, infobox and lead
- The single cover has a valid fair use rationale, though some texts were apparently duplicated and even quadruplicated, so I've fixed that.
- No copyvio (search without search engine due to error 429)
- The infobox uses "BMG U.S. Latin" but the article uses "US" instead of "U.S."
- "by Mexican singer" → "by the Mexican singer" (WP:FALSETITLE)
Background and composition
- Link the first occurrence of Cristian Castro in "Background and composition"
- "by Colombian musician" → "by the Colombian musician" (WP:FALSETITLE)
- "Although the album was met with mixed reviews, it achieved multi-platinum status and was named Latin pop artist of 2000 US by Billboard" — what does "2000 US" mean? Also, you should clarify that Castro was named "Latin pop artist of 2000 US", not the album. "Billboard" should also be italicized.
- Link "rock" to rock music and experimental music to itself.
- "and an English-language disc of cover versions" — cover versions of what specifically?
- I see that some lyrics are mentioned — does any source give any interpretation or opinion on them or do they just mention them?
Promotion and release
- "scenes Castro" → "scenes of Castro"
- "on the 50 Best Latin Pop Songs From 2000 to 2023" → "on their list of the 50 best Latin pop songs between 2000 and 2023"
- "nominated in the category of Latin Pop Airplay of the Year" → "nominated for Latin Pop Airplay of the Year"
- "but ultimately lost" → "but lost"
- "it was nominated Pop Song of the Year at Lo Nuestro Awards" → "it was nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards"
- but also lost to "Abrázame Muy Fuerte" → "but lost to the same song"
- "Santander was awarded for the track" — awarded what?
- "reached the apex" seems quite metaphorical, recommend just "reached the top"
- "where it spent" → "spending"
