What was written in that newspaper on 1994 became true: the Australian MotoGP moved in 1997 from Eastern Creek to Phillip Island.Rpo.castro (talk) 11:20, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
True. The only reason that I have it here as if I might want to expand this article in the future, I have it here already sorted. HawkAussie (talk) 11:24, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Australian Grand Prix 1978

I've just seen a (contemporaneous) headline that Mike Hailwood participated in the above race in May, prior to his comeback at the Isle of Man TT in late May/early June. Unfortunately the text is too indistinct but I can decipher a Yamaha 750, and podium of Hideo Kanaya (winner), Warren Willing and Murray Sayle. A few links mentioning Kanaya's win in 1978 at Bathurst can be googled.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 20:09, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
