Plastic

The images don't show that "hard plastic" cover. How is it?

How many?

How many of these coins are coined/circulating? I am interested especially in the 1 kg coin. There can't be many of them around.{{subst:image source|Image:2003australiagoldnugget1ounceobv240.JPG)) Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 23:34, 24 May 2007 (UTC) {{missing rationale|Image:2003australiagoldnugget1ounceobv240.JPG 185946 jbunjhu —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.99.232 (talk) 09:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Consistency

Why are there some in oz and some others in metric (kg)? Why are "Years of Minting: 1986–present" and "Design Date: 1999"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.20.175.46 (talk) 22:58, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Size

It would be nice have some measure of the diameter and thickness of the various sizes of these coins. It's hard to visualise their relative sizes with only a mass. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.171.85.67 (talk) 07:18, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the article lists 1.4mm thickness for the 1/20 oz coins. that cannot be right. i measure betwean 0.9 and 1 mm. Peter Grabs (talk) 20:02, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One tonne gold coin

Is the "one tonne gold coin" referred to in the article an "Australian Gold Nugget "? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:49, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
