What are number theoretic implications of Artin's conjecture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.21.55.7 (talk) 20:56, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Prime ideals of a field?

The article is saying the Euler factors are given by prime ideals of a field, i.e. that there is only one Euler factor. ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 01:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A prime ideal of a number field usually means (by abuse) a prime ideal of the ring of integers of the field. -- Taku (talk) 04:31, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to change it. Even if that's a common thing to do, there is absolutely no reason to expect anyone to know what they're saying. ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 01:20, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
