The article says he had one daughter. However, according to Burke’s Landed Gentry - The Kingdom of Scotland 19th Edition, Volume I he had a son who predeceased him: Ian Dalrymple Dewar (1893-1916) killed in action in France during World War I. Handicapper (talk) 15:02, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
