Prop Rings for Ring Bearers

The Trivia section states: "He owns one of two prop rings used in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The other went to Elijah Wood, who played Frodo Baggins. Prop rings were given to each of the ring bearers at the end of filming."

The last sentence is confusing. There were two other ring bearers in the films: Bilbo Baggins, played by Ian Holm, and Samwise Gamgee, played by Sean Astin. If indeed there were only two prop rings (i.e. of the One Ring) used in the films, then it should be made clear that only two of actors who played ring bearers were given prop rings. That Academy Award?

One paragraph states that the academy award was not refused due to Gollum being of a CGI nature, whereas the trivia section almost states the opposite. Does it conflict? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Grigzie (talkcontribs) 00:01, 17 February 2007 (UTC).

I was just wondering the same thing. Have added a contradiction tag. --Calair 02:20, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

I have altered the trivia section somewhat. AlbertSM 19:17, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

There was no mention that he claimed the entire gollum character was him, basically taking any credit away from the animators. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.64.16.58 (talk) 17:28, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Erm, what? Have you even bothered to read his autobiography on Gollum? At no point does he attempt to take away the animators' credit at all.--CyberGhostface (talk) 17:58, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Andy an Atheist?

Didn't see any cite. Can someone confirm this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.106.177.22 (talk) 07:47, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
