Newcastle/Durham
The college at Newcastle which developed into Newcastle University was originally an offshoot of the University of Durham. The description of it as "University of Durham (Newcastle)" was the one used at the time, was used in the reference cited, and seems to me to be correct. I can check this further if necessary.
