Article expansion
Hi, I intend to add some information to this page on mechanisms and clinical use. I would also like to replace the drug box with a more up to date version. This would mean using a new compound image from Pubchem. I'm not expecting any objections so I will go ahead and make the changes but do let me know if you have any problems at all. Drug Box
The drug box was recently changed. It does look better without the IUPAC names but I think the picture and chemical detail should come back. These are available separately, but the information has a unique entry on pubchem. The chemical data did appear to be a 1:1 mixture of the two however, not 3:1, so I'm open to suggestions. --IcyEd (talk) 10:59, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
"Saffan" is no longer available on the veterinary market. However, alphaxolone is now marketed for veterinary use under the trade name "alfaxan". Because it does not contain cremophor ELit appeared to produce less hypersensitivity reactions, and unlike Saffan can be used in dogs as well as cats. 46.254.252.198 (talk) 22:15, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
